40 By 40 is a project developed from the brainchild of Founder Louis Linsmeyer and Co-Founder/Super Stud Bruce Rice with fine tuning from our Sergeant at Arms James Dougherty. The objective is simple. Develop and perfect skills in all aspects of mountaineering. Louis originated the idea because he is a nut job in general and a dumb ass when it comes to mountaineering. Bruce agreed to join in because he too is a nut job in general and an expert when it comes to mountaineering. James is just a nut job. So here we go, 40 mountains by Louis’ 40th birthday (more or less).
